Today, we’re opening a new chapter: Hexa House San Francisco, a residence-and-work space in the heart of Cole Valley built to plug founders directly into the world’s most intense AI ecosystem.
A place where European founders can live, work, and immerse themselves in the rhythm of San Francisco for three months as part of Hexa Start, our historic company-building track. With over 50 companies launched, including Swan, Front, Spendesk and Aircall, this is the next step in evolving the model that got us here.
We've already been shifting rapidly toward AI, with new AI-first companies like Dialog, Basalt, and Tandem. This new home accelerates that transformation and brings our founders closer to the epicenter.
Why San Francisco and why now
San Francisco has long been part of our story. More than ten of our startups have gone through Y Combinator, including Front. And today, many of our current startups are building across two hubs: San Francisco and Europe.

A European founder migration and the emergence of a new community
Over the past two years, we’ve watched a clear movement take shape: an increasing number of European founders, engineers, and researchers are choosing to relocate to San Francisco to build AI-native companies.
What once happened occasionally has turned into a broader migration. A dense European community has formed in the city, creating an environment where everyone is building at remarkable speed. The concentration of talent and creativity is unmatched, and being embedded in the Bay Area accelerates a founder’s trajectory in ways that simply can’t be replicated from afar.

For more than a decade, Start has been one of Europe’s most effective engines for going from 0 → 1. In 12 months, founders are matched with a co-founder, paired with a Partner who acts as their third co-founder, supported by world-class operators across product, tech, GTM, talent, and finance, funded from day one, and pushed to execute at a high operating rhythm.
We’ve built every part of the journey. But one element has become essential for AI-native companies: proximity to the ecosystem advancing the frontier.
