Newsletter #14: No “I” in “Entrepreneur”

First things first: from all of us at eFounders, we wish you a happy new year full of big ideas, exciting challenges, and hyper growth! 🎉

7 years ago, the eFounders saga began, paving the way for a new model of entrepreneurship. Behind it, one conviction: there is no such thing as a self-made man or woman. Acknowledging the role played by our co-founders, mentors, and ecosystem isn’t just a mark of humility. It’s necessary to keep aiming high. And we intend to aim even higher in 2018. 🚀

Co-founders

Last year, we’ve been fortunate to work alongside some of the brightest and boldest founders we’ve ever met. And to bring 4 of them to independence: Forest Admin’s Sandro Munda and his team have taken residence in nearby offices in Paris’ Sentier (and raised funds 👀), and Slite’s Christophe Pasquier as well as Station’s Julien Berthomier and Alexandre Lachèze have also left the studio. Next stop for these teams: SF! 🌉

For the new year, we’ll be pushing forward our mission: partnering up with great entrepreneurs and to build the future of work. We’ve already got new projects gearing up for growth in 2018 — some of which you may of already heard of:

Briq, our employee engagement tool for Slack teams, recently revamped their branding — but kept the same vision: making employee recognition as simple as a chat message. 💬

Folk (formerly Near) is also heading into 2018 with a brand new name to match it’s ambition: to empower teams to build, maintain, and leverage all their key contacts and relationships. 🤝

Other projects you probably haven’t heard about… yet. Like Upflow, a smart solution to manage all of your company’s accounts receivable. More on that very soon! 😉

Mentors

Since we started the adventure, we’ve relied on an incredible network of talented entrepreneurs, mentors, and advisors. With our Scale series we’ve opened up access to stories, advice, and best-practices from the leading minds in the industry. 💡

For the new year, we hope to keep bringing you expert tips on how to scale your startup. Until then, all of the content from last season is live on our blog and our Youtube channel. ✨

Until Next Time

The first semester of 2018 will BY FAR be the most exciting one yet for us at eFounders. Some projects will announce new rounds of funding. 💸

Others will share new horizons to build their business. 🛫
