AI coding factories can now build faster than anyone can decide what to build. The agent will spend tokens on the wrong feature just as happily as the right one, and the tools around it were never designed for the moment where a human looks at something and says yes.
Designers have already left the canvas, they work with coding agents and hand over HTML files and preview links but a coding agent has no way to compare versions, no memory of why a product decision was made, and nothing to hand the next person beyond a folder.
OpenDesignX is where PMs, engineers, designers and agents work on designs and specs together: an agent that designs within your existing design system, a space to compare and comment on versions, and a handout the next agent can both read and interrogate.
About the partner
I’m a Partner at Hexa with a strong focus on AI. Over the past 12+ years, I’ve built products from the ground up, co-founded an all-in-one customer success platform, and advised several SaaS and consumer startups. Now, I’m dedicated to build the next wave of AI-first products with formidable entrepreneurs at Hexa.
