Front
The customer communication hub. We launched Front in 2014. Back then the mission was simple: allowing teams to collaborate on all incoming messages from customers by creating a shared inbox. And it worked.
The idea for Front came in 2013. We wanted to help teams collaborate on all customer messages (email, chat, social) through one shared inbox.
That’s when Mathilde Collin and Laurent Perrin joined as co-founders, taking on CEO and CTO roles. Soon after, they moved to San Francisco and got accepted into Y Combinator’s Summer ‘14 batch—making Front the first Hexa company to join YC.
Since then, Mathilde and Laurent have built something remarkable: a product used by over 9,000 businesses, a team of 200+ across San Francisco, Chicago, Paris, and Dublin, and a company culture rooted in transparency and making work happier.
