We believe software is evolving from tools to agents. Autonomous programs equipped with advanced reasoning capabilities will increasingly replace human decision-making in complex workflows. Our focus is on identifying the essential classes of agents that can take real operational ownership, continuously adapt to context, and act reliably at scale.
Infrastructure as the backbone
As agents become central to how work gets done, new infrastructure becomes critical. Monitoring, observability, governance, compliance, and security are no longer optional layers. The “picks and shovels” of the agentic era will be foundational companies, enabling trust, control, and resilience in AI-native organizations.
Next-generation software
The SaaS model is evolving. Rigid dashboards and one-size-fits-all interfaces give way to conversational, adaptive, and highly personalized experiences. We believe the future of work software lies in interfaces that adapt to users, teams, and contexts, rather than forcing humans to adapt to software.
Augmented agencies and services
Service businesses have historically struggled with scalability. AI changes this equation. Equipped with intelligent agents, agencies and service providers can deliver high-value outcomes with minimal human effort, restoring scalability and enabling new, highly attractive economic models.
AI for Work is a Hexa Sprint vertical dedicated to founders building AI-native companies at the core of this transformation. We work with early-stage teams who are not looking to add AI on top of existing workflows, but to replace them entirely, from first principles.
Over six months, we work side by side with a small group of ambitious teams to sharpen their thesis, design the right product and architecture, build and iterate fast, stress-test the business model, and prepare for long-term growth and fundraising. This is not a demo program. It is company building, hands-on and operator-led.
